The Kinloch Club

The Kinloch Club, Taupo, New Zealand

The only Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course to be built in New Zealand, Kinloch showcases a design philosophy that aims to enhance the natural environment – allowing the surroundings of the stunning Great Lake Taupo region to shape each hole.

The Kinloch Club Golf Course has an impressive array of facilities and services including a 3 tier grass tee practice area/range, putting and chipping green facilities, golf shop, fleet of electric carts, hire clubs and trundlers, on course PGA golf professionals and a Clubhouse restaurant and licensed bar.

The Kinloch Club was voted in the top 10 new golf courses in the world by US Travel and Leisure golf magazine (the only course outside of North America to feature in that prestigious list). Find out more about the Kinloch Club here.

Wairakei Golf and Sanctuary

Wairakei Golf and Sanctuary

Wairakei Golf + Sanctuary has been skillfully designed to blend with the surrounding native bush. Prolific birdsong, picturesque scenery and a unique pest-proof sanctuary (the first of its kind) has led to Wairakei being recognised as New Zealand’s number one golf course.

Wairakei lies on 180 hectares of natural rolling countryside, 6460 metres from championship tees with 108 large well placed bunkers and was developed to meet the rigorous design standards required for world-class championship competitions.

The predator free sanctuary offers a safe haven to fallow deer and many birdlife including mixed colour pheasants, guinea fowl, peking ducks and our nation’s icon, the kiwi, which are all free to roam around the course. Find out more about Wairakei Golf and Sanctuary here.
